Miriam Barr

Miriam Barr is a poet and performance poet with a background in psychology. She has been
involved in running Poetry Live, a poetry open mic’ night, for the last five years. She is one of the founding members and creative director of
The Literatti, a performance group that combines poetry, music & multiple voices. She is the editor of a small poetry ‘zine called Side Stream. Her poems have been published in JAAM, Poetry NZ, Landfall.

The Creative Writing class is open to new and experienced writers alike. In class exercises practice various aspects of writing fiction and poetry.
