Psyche hidden: a romantic poem by Mr. D. Tweedie

MB

Strange materials drifted

In a sea of silent gloom

Moths beating their wings

Relentlessly

The moon looked like the

Half-closed lid of an eye

As she drifted across the sky

Effortlessly

Watching from a distance

The earth’s ancient denizens

Hiding underneath

Veils of leaves & mushrooms

Religiously
